Spent yesterday seeing how one of my swimsuit patterns worked as underpants… success I think in the form of 3 new pairs of “grannie pannies” (as my resident 17yr old informs me they are called) Fabrics are the lovely ballerina-pink viscose jersey and a crazy-daisy lace from Ditto Fabrics!

Autumn Update

Many new fabrics for Autumn/Winter 2011 have been added to the site over the past few weeks.

Customers seem to be loving our new ranges and loads of fabric has already disappeared off the shelves in the shop.

All our wool knits and coatings are very popular with designers so they are selling like hotcakes!

It’s a good job Francesco made a surprise visit to England this week and as a result loads more cloth will be on it’s way from Italy shortly.

Expected delivery date the first week of October.

Loads of gorgeous fabrics for Autumn/Winter 2011 are now being added to the site.

There’s so much fabric waiting to be photographed it’s difficult to know where to start!

The new Italian delivery is slowly being worked through but it’s all non-repeatable and quantities are limited so it’s best to not hang around if there’s something that takes your fancy.

Vogue – August Edition

Septembers’s edition of Vogue magazine is well worth buying as included is a DVD of the catwalk shows for Autumn 2011.

The DVD’S content includes all the latest trends but most inspiring was the wonderful way in which colour and texture had been used and combined by the leading designers.

Very inspiring for dressmakers planning their Autumn/Winter wardrobes!
